Inspired by the knight that adorns the actual bottle as well as the bottler’s surname, Elmo portrays the main gate of Fort St. Elmo. Built on the tip of the Sciberras peninsula, this majestic building served to protect the islands during the Great Siege of 1565 and the Second World War. It has recently been magnificently restored to its former glory, greeting those entering the Grand Harbour.
